Llegamos a Las Cuevas y descubrimos un lugar en calma, de calles sin dirección definida y un encanto especial. Allí tenemos la oportunidad de intervenir en la rehabilitación y ampliación de una vivienda asociada a un granero y almacén de campo. La vivienda, de tradición familiar, pretende llenarse de vida y convertirse en el nuevo corazón de la familia. Para ello, la reinterpretación de los muros que delimitan la vivienda y la parcela redefinen el espacio interior y dan sentido a la nueva configuración de la vivienda. La zona de día, en planta baja, rodea un jardín interior y gira en torno a él. En la planta superior, la zona de noche sobrevuela con la mirada el jardín y busca la vista hacia los campos de almendros que la rodean. Una intervención muy delicada en un lugar muy especial.

We arrived at Las Cuevas and discovered a quiet place, of streets without definite direction and a special charm. There we have the opportunity to intervene in the rehabilitation and enlargement of a house associated to a barn and warehouse of field. The house, with a family tradition, pretends to be full of life and become the new heart of the family. To this end, the reinterpretation of the walls that delimit the house and the plot redefine the interior space and give meaning to the new configuration of the house. The day area, on the ground floor, surrounds an inner garden and revolves around it. On the upper floor, the night zone overlooks the garden and looks for the view to the surrounding almond fields. A very delicate intervention in a very special place.
