Intervenir desde la tradición y el contexto.
El proyecto consiste en una intervención puntual en un entorno marítimo histórico con unas reglas establecidas muy definidas. La serie de viviendas nos ofrece la oportunidad de intervenir en una de ellas y su vacío contiguo. La reflexión principal del proyecto consiste en la reinterpretación de la línea divisoria entre parcelas, hasta el momento continua como límite entre propiedades, pero ahora abierta a un trazado libre por moldear el lleno y el vacío. La manipulación de esta línea permite definir los espacios estrictamente necesarios articulando, a la vez, el interior y el exterior para sacar el máximo partido tomando como elemento fijo la construcción existente. A partir de ella,  esta línea se libera en el ámbito de la ampliación, evidenciando intencionadamente la relación entre la preexistencia original y su crecimiento.
En su interior, materiales expuestos en su crudeza y naturalidad construyen la totalidad del espacio. Hormigón, DM y cerámica en el interior y la continuidad de la cal en el exterior buscan crear una nueva espacialidad con los materiales originales y existentes en las viviendas contiguas.

Intervene from tradition and context.
The project consists of a specific intervention in a historic maritime environment with very defined established rules. The series of houses offers us the opportunity to intervene in one of them and its adjacent void. The main reflection of the project consists of the reinterpretation of the dividing line between plots, until now it continues as a boundary between properties, but now open to a free layout to shape the full and empty. The manipulation of this line allows defining the strictly necessary spaces, articulating, at the same time, the interior and exterior to get the most out of it, taking the existing construction as a fixed element. From there,  this line is released into the scope of expansion, intentionally evidencing the relationship between the original preexistence and its growth.
Inside, materials exposed in their rawness and naturalness build the entire space. Concrete, polished DM and ceramic inside and the continuity of lime on the outside try to create a new spatiality with the original and existing materials in the adjoining homes.
