El patio como estrategia, el patio y sus tipologías. Los patios como conjunto, cada uno con su posición y dimensión. Entre ellos, espacios por descubrir; espacios concatenados e insinuados manteniendo la privacidad entre unos y otros. El proyecto pretende recoger la esencia del espacio urbano que lo rodea; espacios cubiertos, semicubiertos, interiores, exteriores, todos ellos vinculados entre sí a través de una secuencia articulada por su trazado y geometría.
Para potenciar el movimiento, la continuidad material minimiza la cantidad de información de cada ámbito, dejando que el espacio general sea definido por la relación de sus límites y las transiciones entre los lugares que va generando.
La posición, dimensión y orientación de los patios, cada uno adecuado a su lugar y función, establecen el filtro de privacidad requerido por sus usuarios, articulando las estancias y la manera de circular y conectarse entre ellas.
Un lugar donde una geometría clara y definida es capaz crear la incertidumbre y el dinamismo a su alrededor.
The patio as a strategy, the patio and its typologies. The patios as a whole, each one with its position and dimension. Among them, spaces to discover; concatenated and insinuated spaces maintaining the privacy between each other. The project aims to collect the essence of the urban space that surrounds it; covered, semi-covered, interior, exterior spaces, all of them linked to each other through a sequence articulated by its path and geometry.
To enhance movement, material continuity minimizes the amount of information in each area, allowing the general space to be defined by the relationship between its limits and the transitions between the places that it generates.
The position, dimension and orientation of the patios, each one adapted to its place and function, establish the privacy filter required by its users, articulating the rooms and the way of circulating and connecting with each other.
A place where a clear and defined geometry is capable of creating uncertainty and dynamism around it.
