La envolvente y el objeto.
Intervenir en un lugar existente implica entender bien las condiciones de partida para poder actuar lo mínimo y obtener lo máximo. En este caso, el análisis y la lectura de la envolvente existente fue el punto de partida de la estrategia de proyecto. Sus movimientos en planta fueron quienes ubicaron los distintos usos requeridos. La dislocación de un espacio continuo permite diferenciar, sin necesidad de compartimentarlo, los espacios de día, incluida la terraza como foco visual del espacio.
Para complementar el trabajo con la envolvente, un objeto concreto, acotado y muy definido en posición, medida y uso, aglutina los espacios sirvientes como filtro hacia la zona de noche. Un elemento abstracto, de geometría clara y reconocible, potencia el movimiento irregular del perímetro del espacio y consigue resolver, tanto en su interior como en su exterior, todo lo necesario.
Un relación entre dos conceptos, capaz de definir los espacios necesarios para el habitar.

The envelope and the object.
Intervening in an existing place implies a good understanding of the starting conditions in order to act as minimum as possible and obtain the maximum. In this case, the analysis and reading of the existing envelope was the starting point of the project strategy. Their movements in plan were those which located the different uses required. The dislocation of a continuous space makes it possible to differentiate, without the need to compartmentalize it, the day spaces, including the terrace as the visual focus of the space.
To complement the work with the envelope, a specific object, delimited and very defined in position, measurement and use, brings together the servant spaces as a filter towards the night area. An abstract element, with clear and recognizable geometry, enhances the irregular movement of the perimeter of the space and manages to resolve everything that is necessary both inside and outside.
A relationship between two concepts, capable of defining the spaces necessary for living.
